Can anyone tell me what is the best temperature for growing rhubarb? I think it is too hot where I live!

Hi Graeme
Sorry about the slow reply …… rhubarb definitely prefers cooler climates. The best temperature range for rhubarb is between about 5 and 24 degrees celsius. So if you live in the sub-tropics or tropics you may find it too hot. Although, I have had success in hot conditions by sheltering under shade cloth during hot conditions.
