I have been trying to find out if I should use my grass clippings as mulch around my fruit trees. I seem to get a different opinion about this from each article online that I read. What does everyone here think? Should I use grass clippings as mulch around my fruit trees?

I'll start a new discussion thread, but I have a similar question ... should I use wood chip or saw dust as mulch; particularly around my citrus trees?

I use grass clippings as mulch around my garden all the time and have never had a problem, although I can see that this might be an issue if I were to pile it up thick.
