Hello Steve,


im growing my own sugar pumpkins and Atlantic giant pumpkins this year, what can I do in order to get the best yield from either plant?

Hi Dan

I have always grown pumpkin to eat, so my focus has not been on size. Getting a good pumpkin harvest is mostly achieved through having good soil - fertile, compost rich and well drained. The soil should also be slightly on the acidic side of the scale.
